Restorative dentistry in our office is kind of our bread and butter, it's what we all really, really like to do. I like to prepare the teeth, and I have assistants that absolutely love to put the fillings, and some going to let them do what they are really, really good at. It can be as simple as a one surface filling on some really deep grooves to a really big case, where we're doing some bridges or some implants or just some crowns on some patients. Like I said, it can be anywhere in between, so we can get some cosmetic in there with some of the bonding that we were talking about earlier, to maybe like a full smile design of a full mouth rehab that we call or a smile design, and they're getting a crown on almost every single tooth in their head but it's to better them, and to make their bite better, and to help them function for the rest of their lives.
Dental Implant Options
Dental implants are a strong, natural-looking tooth replacement option. We can attach several restoration options to your dental implants, including:
- Dental crowns to replace single teeth
- Dental bridges to replace multiple adjacent missing teeth
- Dentures to replace an entire arch of teeth or even every tooth in your mouth
Compared to other tooth replacements, dental implants offer many advantages, because they:
- Look, feel, and function just like your natural teeth
- Can last a lifetime with proper care
- Provide up to 90 percent of the biting power provided by your natural teeth
To have the dental implant placed, you will visit an oral surgeon we work with. You will then return to our dental office to have your custom restorations placed. Your new teeth will blend in seamlessly with your smile!
Did you know that dental veneers can solve functional problems like tooth fractures and worn-down teeth as well as cosmetic issues? Our team exclusively offers e.max veneers that are designed to be strong, beautiful, and long-lasting.
Dental crowns completely cap the visible portion of a damaged tooth for added strength. They can be used to protect teeth that are:
- Worn down
We craft custom dental crowns out of a tooth-colored material that is matched to blend in seamlessly with your natural smile.
A traditional fixed dental bridge can be used to replace one or multiple adjacent teeth. Instead of using dental implants, a fixed dental bridge is attached to your surrounding healthy teeth. Say goodbye to smile gaps!
If you or your child has a cavity, we can address the problem while it’s still small with a tooth filling. At our South Bend, IN dental office, we offer tooth-colored fillings made out of a composite material so no one will know you’ve had dental work done!
Root Canal Therapy
Left unchecked, tooth decay can penetrate your enamel and infect the soft tissue inside your tooth. In this case, we can offer a gentle root canal to remove the infection, relieve your pain, and restore your oral function.
