Everything You Can't Miss In South Bend
South Bend is full of events and activities you shouldn't miss, but here are a few of our favorites:
- Four Winds Field At Coveleski Stadium
You don't have to be a baseball fan to enjoy Four Winds Field. The home of The South Bend Cubs also hosts a variety of concerts and events year-round! - American Cancer Society's Relay For Life
Held annually at the St. Joseph County Fairgrounds, the Relay For Life is a fundraising cancer walk for the American Cancer Society. Tulip Tree Dental Care staff regularly participate in this event to show their support of the American Cancer Society's proactive action against cancer. - Potawatomi Zoo
Our local zoo is the oldest zoo in Indiana! The daily zoo experiences feature animals from around the world in demonstrations and feeding experiences, including a hands-on opportunity to feed American Bison. The Potawatomi Zoo regularly hosts events like World Oceans Day, Junior Naturalist Camps, and Evening Safari Classes. - University Of Notre Dame
We'd be remiss not to include one of the most recognized landmarks in South Bend: the University of Notre Dame. The university has been a part of South Bend since 1842, gracing the local landscape with it's Gothic architecture and collegiate energy. Locals and tourists alike flood the campus gates every week to spend time at the Snite Museum of Art, support the Fighting Irish football team at Notre Dame Stadium, and ice skate at the Compton Family Ice Arena.
Our Favorite South Bend Restaurants
There's no better way to celebrate the end of a workday than by stopping in at Evil Czech Brewery. Their hand-crafted brews and delicious food keep us coming back, especially the General George Patton Pilsner and their riff on the Canadian classic: poutine!
Small plates restaurants are one of our favorite spots to frequent because it makes sharing and tasting new dishes fun with a group. Tapastrie on W. Colfax always has delicious tapas to try and pair with their excellent selection of wine.
Everyone needs a go-to brunch spot! Baker and Rose on Niles Ave. in the Emporium building is ours! Whether you're craving a sweet treat (like their ricotta toast with fruit jam) or savory fare, you can find what you're looking for at this delicious breakfast and brunch spot.
While you're out and about enjoying all South Bend has to offer, remember that Tulip Tree Dental Care is here for you and your family with same-day emergency dentist appointments!
